A 59-year-old woman was hospitalized with the diagnosis of proliferative leukemic crisis. Two weeks after admission,she sustained a left hemiplegia followed by right fixed dilated pupil, coma and death. At autopsy, a massive hemorrhage was present in the right cerebral hemisphere, as well as lesions in the brainstem.
