Case History: Case P
A 57-year-old man with a history of poorly controlled hypertension was working hard in his garden when he suddenly collapsed. His wife called 911 and he was taken to the hospital. By that time he was conscious but had weakness and sensory loss on the left side. CT scan is shown. What is the most likely diagnosis and pathophysiology? Would you administer antithrombotic agents?
